Chilies are an excellent source of vitamin C and also contain other vitamins and minerals. They are consumed on a large scale all over the world, but the production is going to bounded because buds fall off. The primary reasons for flower falling are the fluctuation in temperature, irrigation practices, and higher use of Nitrogen fertilizers. It is advised to farmers to maintain the temperature of about 25-30 °C at the flowering stage and also irrigate plants daily in hot and dry summer. Farmers can get better results by the application of potash fertilizers at the blooming stage.
