Farmers should immediately remove weak plants from sesame fields so that these plants do not infect other healthy plants, agriculture expert

The agriculture expert has instructed the sesame growers to keep a close watch on the crop and when the 6-8 leaves come out, the weak plants should be removed from the field immediately. Likewise the distance between the plants should be 10 to 15 cm and 4 to 6 inches and good return can be attained by getting rid of their share in: water, air and pesticides. Farmers should keep in mind that the number of plants per acre in the field should be around 60,000 so that they do not face any difficulty in irrigating and hoeing. They also directed the farmers to use fertilizers in a balanced and proportionate manner.
