For grafting of plant, seed-grown Amla plants should be transplanted in pots.

Transfer one or a half-year-old seedling from seeded to Amla for grafting of plant to the pots during February this month and the middle of March next month. After 10 to 15 days of transfer to the pots, tie these plants with a uniform thickness of the desired branch of tree, unwrap a nearly 2″ long and deep bark of uni scion and root stock. The polythene paper should be tightly bound to the joints. And after 2-3 months, the scion from the bottom of the joint will be cut off and separate, the plant. During this time, water should be given twice daily to the pot.
