Insects can attack on lentil crop from sowing to harvesting stage.

It is instructed to lentil growers to protect their crops from harmful insects attack. Cutworms remain near to the plants during day time and harm the plant during night. Unusable vegetables should cut and make piles in the field at night time then in next days they should be destroyed. Insects can attack on lentil crop from seedling to harvesting stage. At first Cutworms feed on roots and make holes in the plants that’s why the infected plants dried up. If the irrigation is done on time, the attack of the termite can be avoided to some extent.
