Pakistani Rice approached Iraqi market after 5 years

Pakistani rice has made all the way till Iraq and the international markets. Chairman of Rice Exporters’ Association said we successfully has open a new horizon for Pakistani rice. Through Iraqi market Pakistan will be able to send 1.5 Tonnes of rice worth of Rs.10 bn. Association’s chair man Mahmood Molvi told meida that Iraq has stopped procuring rice from Pakistan due grain length issues. Rice exporters association has successfully addressed their reservations and brought them back.

Mr. Mahmood also shared that after putting ban Iraq was getting rice from India and Uruguay but different venerates of Pakistani rice are now approved by Iraqi Food ministries.
