White rust is a common disease of canola crops. It is due to the attack of fungus. High moisture is favorable for the spread of this disease. White powdery appearance observed on leaves, stem, and flowers. The best way to control this disease is the use of resistant varieties of canola. Seeds should be treated with fungicides before sowing. To control this disease the application of Mancozeb or Copper-based fungicides will be much effective. If necessary repeat the spray with the interval of 10-15 days.
