Cardamom is an evergreen jumble plant that adds an outstanding savor in our life. Growers can grow it as a cash crop because every part of the plant is used in daily life. It is planted through seeds as well as from large underground rhizomes each year. Before planting the seeds, place them in a bowl and covered with lukewarm water for a night to enhance germination. They love partially shady places and prefer rich, slightly acidic humus soil. In another method, split the cardamom rhizomes which stand at least one year old with two rising shoots and plant them at a proper distance to get more plants.
