Agriculture department has advised the spinach cultivators to irrigate spinach on time for better production. Spinach that is cultivated on beds should be irrigated with the interval of 6 to 8 days while the spinach cultivated through drill must be irrigated with the interval of 10 to 12 days. It should be harvested when 3 to 4 leaves emerges because production is decreased if cluster of leaves are present at the same place. After one month of sowing, hoeing is necessary to remove all the weeds. Application of one bag of urea after every cutting will help in early development of the next crop.
